This area of Tokyo is called Asakusa where the oldest Buddhist shrine is held. It was a long train ride to get here, but I am getting better with Tokyo's metro system.

Only two more hours...
Really this week has felt like forever... It's hard to believe I have been here two months. So those that took that bet lost and now can I make it another. I am looking forward to Korea and at least next week I have next Tuesday off. On Tuesday, I am going with some friends to Disney Tokyo Sea. From what I have been told, its like Epcot with alcohol so I am sure I will have a good time. Tonight, I am meeting my class and then meeting Eko for some drinks. I am not planning to stay out to long as I have my solo overnight trip to Tokyo. I have done some planning, gotten directions, and made a list of things I want to see. My first trip by myself and I am actually happy about it. No compromise just do what I want to do. However, I do wish monkey was here to go with me. So my tentative plans are to wake up get the 11 AM train to Tokyo, check in, walk to the shrine, look at the shops, find the oldest amusement park in Japan, take a boat ride, and maybe a onsen. I doubt I will do the onsen since Eko wont be with I dont think I will have the courage, but you never know. These are very loose plans and I may do something completely different. I am going to the Asakusa area in Tokyo you should look it up to see where I will be. Have a great weekend!!! I miss everyone

I swear!!
When I get back, I am only doing private practice. It is mine and I love it. No really I am going to put all the energy I have and just work for myself. Enough of these organizations where you sit around all day and do nothing. I have had enough. I am making a promise to myself no more well unless they pay a lot and only then will I do it part time. I hate sitting in a office. Did I go to jail and not realize it well that's what it feels like! Also, this is my 100th blog entry.
Today is forever....
I really have nothing to do. I have looked up everyone could think of, went on my space, thought about going to school on line, and looked up about mortgages. As monkey, can tell you this is what got me to Japan to much time on my hands. So, now I am just waiting to leave. I can't do my old tricks here.I have no car and really nothing to do once I leave here. At home, I always had something to do that conflicted with work whether it was going to another job or getting my nails done. I can't get my nails done because I just can't find one. There is no affordable nail salon in Japan, but I have not given up hope. At least, I have something to do this evening. Tomorrow, I get introduce to my conversational English class that I will be substituting for the next month. I am a substitute teacher like Dorothy on the Golden Girls except I don't want to be her she was the manish one. 2.5 hrs to go :)
I never thought
I knew someday we would have a black president, someday a woman will be president, someday gay marriage will be legal, and all things that people fight against will one day happen. However, I never thought I would see the day when I got into politics. Really, I do not what Japan is doing to me, but I spent all day researching the candidates learning about their stance on important issues, the issues that plague America, and watching CNN. So, I'm a little late. We have a new president that I am oddly excited about you know I just have a good feeling. Also, I can call my dad whom is not pleased with the election and tease him at least for the next four years. At work, everyone was consumed with the election crawling out of their office and congregating in the break room. I had my anti social pants on today sat in my office and read/watched the election. I felt out of touch with America and today I felt like I knew what was going on. Anyway, I had lunch with my friend at the Warehouse which was a vast improvement from the disgusting and uncomfortable lunch from the day prior. I had one client went to the gym, but took the bus home. When I got home, I had no internet and was on the phone with them for over an hour only to fix the problem myself. Really who am I??? Politics, fixing computers I think there is something in the Japanese water that makes you smarter. Oh! the naked bath place was fun and we are going again soon. Tommorow, we are going to have Thai at a cool place she knows on the beach, but its freezing here. I heart Obama!!

My new addiction
Facebook?? It kept me up until 2AM looking up anyone I could think of. As many of you know, I went to jew overnight camp for 7 yrs and it seemed all the jews were on facebook. I even found my camp counselor when I was 16. The beauty of facebook is that you can request to be friends and not have to write them. Many of these people, I have not spoken to in years, but it is nice to see what they have been doing with their lives, married, babies, blah blah. Anyway, my allergies are killing me really I can't say I'm allergic to Japan because this happens in New Orleans. Back at work, doing nothing I wish I could have the option for them to call me at home if they needed me. The highlight of my work day will be going to lunch. However, naked time with the Japanese!!! I really hope it helps my allergies.

I heart facebook
My friend made me look at her facebook and I remembered that I signed up like a year ago and never really did anything with it. Anyway, I had friend requests from old friends, my cousins, and other random people, so that brighten my day. I messed around with my alarm clock when I got off the bus I asked myself why was it almost 9 AM and realized I had set them alarm an hour behind. It has nothing to do with the time change, but that I am retarded. Now I am 15 hours ahead of New Orleans. I have done nothing all day. I planned my trip to Tokyo this weekend and went to lunch with a friend. Tonight, I am going to the gym and attempting to walk home. I am definitely going to the gym. I may eat on base since I did not come here on Sat or Sun. Go me! Also, I am taking over this guy english class while he is away for a month!!! I start this Friday. Maybe I will make so much money teaching English that I can quit this counseling nonsense. However, I probably will just keep adding jobs. Tomorrow night naked and bath time with the Japanese again.
