No need for toilet paper

Ok so the apt is a little further than I thought. I went with Yoko the housing person to look at the apt during the day and it is far like a 45 min walk each way to base. However, it is cute, cheap, and very very Japanese. The coolest thing about the place is the toilet. The owner put in a brand new toilet that does everything for you. I am going to go back tomorrow to time how long it will take me to walk it. I am sure it will take me over an hour since I walk very slow. Next to the apt is an onsen aka japanese spa where they get naked and bathe with one another. I may have to check it out with my suit, but I heard that may be offensive to the Japanese. Today, was another fun filled day of nothing at work. I spent most of the day out of the office where surprisingly no one seemed to notice. I went with a coworker to a restaurant on base that had a salad bar, but it did not get it. After work, I made it to the gym and was suppose to go to the movies with a coworker and her husband. I was sleepy and really did not feel like being social so in honor of my monkey I stood them up. I will have to say I am sorry in the morning. That's all for now, but I am getting excited for Thailand.
