Back at work :(

Friday evening, I met the class I will be teaching for the next month at the hospital. It was four doctors with good English skills. The guy who's class I will be taking over introduced me and began the lesson. He began the lesson by speaking about the election, which lead into a conversation about the Japanese issues with the letter L. They do not have that sound in their vocabulary. He explained that some Japanese say erection not election, which led to a discussion about what that word meant. Anyway, I meet with them next Thursday. I was going to gather up stuff about New Orleans and see how it goes. On Saturday, I got up late and headed on my trek to Tokyo. I did relatively well finding Asakusa, but finding the hostel was another story. Basically, I walked around for like an hour and could not find it. I went into this other hostel and they directed me to it. It was in some back alley. Anyway, it was ok not much to say, but I would not shower there. After I checked in, I walked to the shrine, ate at disappointing Denny's, and decided to navigate the Tokyo metro system. Tokyo metro system is completely different than the train system I used to get to Tokyo. I got on a line and took it to Tokyo Tower. I bought a ticket and went to observation area. It was cool not that you didn't know this, but Tokyo is massive. I mean nothing but building and lights on top of one another. I went back down and watched the Japanese take pictures by the Christmas tree. On Sunday, I wanted to get a daytime perspective of the shrine. It was nice and a ton of shops with all kinds of knick knacks!!! On the way home, I had some trouble with the train and got off in Yokohama because I know what train to take from their. I got home, did laundry, took it home, went to base, bought things for my allergies, and ate at Taco Bell. Now, I am here with nothing to do, but plan my next trip. Next weekend, I am going to Mt. Fuji and tomorrow Tokyo Disney Sea. I am so excited to be off tomorrow.
