My first castle, I was disappointed to learn that it had been rebuilt in the 60's and was not 400 yrs old. I learned there are only two original castles left standing in Japan. I will have to locate them and see the legit castles.

ahh, my coworker just got back from a 2 week trip to Japan. I thought about convincing him to put me in his suitcase but knowing him I was scared of what creatures I might be sharing the space with...
He just showed me a pic of this castle and after seeing them it had me thinking of you and your adventures. Sounds like you're surviving--being lost and all!
